As a realtor and psychic medium I’ve been in a lot of houses whether clearing them energetically or selling them! Let’s take a look at why some houses sell fast and some don’t. Here are a few items to help get your home sold!
First things first, we need to talk about pricing. If your home is priced properly, meaning not over priced or too far under priced, in the current market you are in, you should see a viable offer within the first 10 showings or 14 days on the market. No Matter the market. If it takes a bit longer because we are in a deep buyers market, you can up the days slightly, on market to the average days for that style of home and price point in your area. Disclaimer!! This is not an exact science but a general rule of thumb that has proven to be true countless times.
That being said if you have priced it well, and this is confirmed by agents who have shown the listing or have seen the listing. And it’s still sitting around with little to know showings then it’s time to check the energy of the home.
A house clearing might be in order. Sometimes old energies or other people’s energies have tied you to the property. It’s not every time and every situation is different. I have done many home clearings over the past 11 years of actively using my gifts, and found some interesting things around why the home isn’t selling. Sometimes family members don’t want you to move and sometimes you yourself have reservations about moving. Other times it could be that the home is harbouring energies that subconsciously put people off. Or it can feel thick and heavy with congested energy that hasn’t moved in a while, with events that have happened there. This won’t allow new people the space to feel how their own lives would take place there. This is common as most homes should be cleared on a seasonal basis to let the energy move around and let in the new. I always say would you wear the same clothes for a year and never wash them? No you wouldn’t, same goes for your house. The walls, the furniture, every item accumulates the life that unfolds around it, the good times and the bad. So this needs to be cleared out and the home needs to be refreshed. Any ties to the property need to be cut as well.
