Welcome to Niagara

Welcome to...

Niagara

The beauty and vastness of Niagara encompasses many areas, some of which are highlighted here on my site. The Region of Niagara includes cities including; Fort Erie, Grimsby, Lincoln, Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake, Pelham, Port Colborne, St. Catharines, Thorold, Wainfleet, Welland and West Lincoln. I took a closer look at Niagara On the Lake and St. Catharines here on this site, but I am happy to work in any of these areas and do! This is a large part of Southern Ontario and borders the United States boarder. So far I have done videos on Niagara on the Lake and St. Catharines and one for Niagara is on it’s way!

Why You'll LOVE it:

Why You'll HATE it:

Reason 1

Some of the most beautiful landscapes, hiking trails, and outdoors you can enjoy. While having dinner at a winery or taking a hike through the Niagara River Whirlpool, the Niagara Gorge,  and Niagara Glen to name a few.

Reason 1

Tourist areas like the horseshoe falls in Niagara Falls, and famous tourist destinations in Niagara on the Lake can bring heavy traffic to our favourite places especially on weekends.

Reason 2

Wineries, and really, really good food. Stunning views, and a delicious meal is on your list of musts when you live in this area. If this is your speed you can enjoy this type of relaxing evening or midday meal year round! Many of these wineries have wonderful entertainment during the summer months too!

Reason 2

You will need a car to get to these beautiful spots. Even though tourist areas will offer bike tours and different types of tours during the day but none of these are within walking distance to most homes.

Reason 3

Entertainment! Meridian Centre which is the home of the OHL team the Ice Dogs, FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre for good theatre and concerts, Clifton Hill, The Shaw Festival will allow you a full calendar of fun events to attend year round.

Reason 3

There are great clubs to be a part of such as wine clubs, and memberships at many different wineries, and of course you can become a member at the theatre and you can buy a box at the arena, but these types of things can add up! Pick your favourite after trying it all.

Reason 4

Tourist areas are really fun and have many really great things to do! Niagara Falls is a big one for this.

Reason 4

Tourist areas are really busy. You will wait in line and be stuck in traffic if going on holidays or weekends, but since you live here now you can go any time! Or You could stay away from all tourist areas and live in your quiet neighbourhood and be fine.

Reason 5

A mix of country life and city life. You can live in a quieter area and a short drive will get you to the more densely populated areas with all your amenities. You really have the best of both worlds, right here in beautiful Niagara.

Reason 5

Housing prices are high, rental pricing included. Prices have increased and have hovered at those higher rates even with the rate hikes.
